Anxiety disorders are the most common form of mental illness in the United States.

It is estimated that about 31.1% of adults would experience an anxiety disorder in their lifetime; these being more prevalent in females than males 2. Additionally, in adolescents, it is estimated that 31.9% of adolescents between the ages of 13 and 18 struggle with an anxiety disorder1.

Common symptoms of anxiety, that can sometimes be difficult to identify or recognize as anxiety, can include overthinking, distractibility, insomnia, overeating, irritability, muscle tension, gastrointestinal issues, exhaustion, among others.
